EmV Interiors – Terms & Conditions
1. General
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all interior design services provided by EmV Interiors (“the Designer”) to the client (“the Client”). By engaging EmV Interiors, the Client agrees to abide by these Terms.
2. Scope of Work
A detailed scope of work, quotation, and design proposal will be provided prior to project commencement. Any additional work, changes, or extra services requested by the Client beyond the agreed scope will be subject to additional fees and may affect the project timeline.
3. Payments & Fees
For fixed-price packages (Foundation, Refine, Elevate, Immerse), payment is required in full upfront before any design work begins.
For bespoke or larger-scale projects, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total quoted fee is required before work commences, with the remaining 50% payable upon completion and prior to delivery of final design materials or installation.
No design work, ordering of materials, or sourcing will commence until the fee (or deposit) has been received in full. Payments must be made via bank transfer or card to the account specified on the invoice. Late payments may incur interest at 2% per month on any outstanding balance.
4. Refunds & Cancellations
All upfront payments and deposits are non-refundable, as they secure your booking and cover design time and material commitments. If the Client cancels the project after work has started, they remain responsible for all work completed and any materials or products already ordered.
In the event that EmV Interiors cancels the project, any unused funds will be refunded in full.
5. Design Ownership
All concepts, drawings, mood boards, renderings, and other design materials remain the property of EmV Interiors until full payment is received. Upon full payment, the Client is granted a non-exclusive licence to use the final designs for the specified project only. The Client may not reproduce, resell, or share the designs for other projects without written consent from the Designer.
6. Project Timeline
Project timelines are provided as estimates only. Delays caused by late Client approvals, material availability, supplier delays, or other factors beyond the Designer’s control may result in revised delivery dates.
7. Materials, Suppliers & Contractors
EmV Interiors may recommend third-party suppliers or contractors to assist with the project. While every effort is made to ensure quality, EmV Interiors is not responsible for the performance, work quality, or delays of third-party vendors.
8. Liability
EmV Interiors will act with professional care and skill but will not be liable for any loss, damage, or delay caused by circumstances beyond its control, including variations in colour, texture, or material that are inherent to natural or handmade products.
9. Confidentiality
All client information, project details, and design materials will be treated as confidential and will not be shared with third parties without written consent from the Client, except as required by law or for promotional purposes with Client approval.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
11. Home Improvement & Handyperson Services
Scope of Work
EmV Interiors provides home improvement and handyperson services including, but not limited to: painting, decorating, wall murals, wall panelling, hanging pictures, putting up shelves, gardening, home organisation, building flat-pack furniture, and hanging curtains.

For standard, small-scale projects, full payment is required upfront before any work begins.
For larger or bespoke home improvement projects, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required prior to commencement, with the remaining 50% payable upon completion.
No work will commence until payment (or deposit) has been received.
Cancellations & Refunds
Deposits and upfront payments are non-refundable.
If the Client cancels after work has commenced, they remain responsible for payment for all work completed and any materials purchased.
If EmV Interiors cancels a project, unused funds will be refunded in full.
Liability
EmV Interiors will carry out home improvement work with reasonable skill and care but is not liable for any accidental damage, loss, or delays beyond our control, including natural wear and tear or variations in materials.
Clients are responsible for ensuring the work area is safe and clear for the project to be completed efficiently.

Upon full payment, the Client is granted a license to use completed works for the intended project only.
